Dominican Republic Pastor Training

Much is transpiring already in 2014 with our ministry.  

I will be traveling to the Dominican Republic February 24 through March 6 to meet pastor/missionary Gene Pickern in order to invest in a number of church planters and pastors.  I ask you to please pray for me, Gene, and the men that we will be working with during this time.  The schedule is full!

            1.  February 25-26—Training church planters and pastors in Santo 

                 Domingo. 

            2.  February 27—Speak at an all-day prayer and fasting service hosted by 

                 the Baptist Convention of the Dominican Republic.

            3.  February 28-March 1—Travel to Sabana Perdida to train pastors and

                 church planters. 

            4.  March 2—Speak in a local church in the area and then travel to 

                 Santiago.

            5.  March 3-4—Train another group of church planters and pastors in 

                 Santiago. 

            6.  March 5—Meet with some of our key pastors that we support. 

            7.  March 6—Return home

This is going to be a busy time for me.  Please pray for me, the pastors and church planters, and Mandy as she manages the 5 children and home in my absence.  Please pray that God would provide the funds necessary to cover transportation, lodging, and food costs for this training.  We are feeding and training each of the 100+ pastors for roughly $25 each!  This effort will give these men an opportunity to be spiritually nourished, encouraged, and challenged.  Without the support of people like you, they would not have such an opportunity to receive biblical training and encouragement.
